    Day 65

Got up around 10am, packed our bags and checked out. Got a taxi to the bus station and waited around before our 30hour journey to São Paulo. I was dreading the thought of having to sit on a bus for 30 hours but the journey itself wasn't as bad as I feared. The bus stopped at least 6 times so you could get food or go to the bathroom. The places we stopped off at were pretty much just roadside ...

I dragged the two lads out of bed because I wanted to go to the beach. It was also Easter Sunday but there wasn't anywhere to buy Easter eggs so we bought each other ice creams instead. For about two hours we lay on sun beds on the beach and just took it easy. Walked back to the room around 6pm and got ...

We arrived to Porto Seguro around 9am and got a taxi over to an island called Arrail D'ajuda. The reason we decided to go to this place was because we read that the nightlife was supposedly brillaint and it also had plenty of nice beaches. Our first impressions of the place was that it was fairly upmarket. The main street wouldn't have been out of place in somewhere like Vale De Lobo and was lined with lovely shops and restaurants. Sheeno claimed it was voted the nicest street ...

... I didn't really feel like eating it much once I had cooked for an hour. So I ate a bit and then put it away to eat for the next few days. I then sat about a bit. There wasn't really anyone to chat to and it was a pretty quiet hostel. So about 11 I had a shower and went to bed. The next morning I got up about 9 and had a good free breakfast. The breakfast in Brazil is really good. They love a toasty machine so I always have a cheese toasty and some fruit ...
