When Howard came back we went out for lunch at the university cafeteria and headed over to the musem. Howard had invited his friend who has a new baby to the museum. They picked us up, but the car was too full for everyone, so I walked with a couple of Chinese students to the museum. It was about a 10 minute walk, nobody needed to be picked ...

This guy was so arrogant and he also had a brain tumor, seriously, which may or may not have affected his judgment.

After some extremely awkward conversation, Amy suggested we go for a walk along the river to see the lights. There was a giant illuminated dragon floating on the water for no apparent reason, but it was cool anyway.

A Little Village - Dayu

It was an old mud and brick village called Dayu. There were still some houses occupied but a lot were empty and in ruins. We found out later that as the elders died and the young people moved away, the town was slowly dying. No different to little places elsewhere, I suppose.
