Surf's up dudes

... snowboarding, as it's the same posture but it's a slightly softer landing. I found it ***********trol the board, we all had the same length surf board so i found it a little too big, i dont think i reached half way when i was laying down paddling. I managed to stand up like Gaz when they pushed you, but paddling was hard and the board has a mind of it's own turning sideways. Now we have to practice!

Oh off the surfing subject slightly, in our room ...

... than the loser taking a sip of drink everyone just decided to do it. By 8 oclock i was on a sand dune pretty much passed out and being sick everywhere. Not very plesant but a good or 'Goon' night. I decided to hit the hay for the night but Daniel was in our group and not used to drinking was passed out in our tent in MY sleeping bag! turns out he got so plastered after a few drinks they drew on his face and then got someone from our group to 'collect him' like a parent picking ...

Throw another shrimp on the barbie

Noosa is beautiful. Its probably the nicest town weve been to. Driving up to the beach we saw the biggest waves weve ever seen, and with them - hoards of the stereotypical surfer types hanging out in board shorts and bikinis in the sinking orange sun. Driving around Noosa was a joy. We found our way up high above the crashing surf to a beautiful look out point surrounded by lush green forest ...

half man half lobster

... in Australia I think (and that's saying something!) The other people working there are really nice anyway so it's been good. Its made the other job things not seem as bad as well. G had Friday off work so we decided to go camping again ... the manager of the car rental place is a massive Liverpool fan so took a liking to G straight away! Because we went last minute they only had a car with a damaged boot, it was only cosmetic though still worked fine so we got a ...

Sorry for the delay.... Photos - again...

... the sun beat down strongly, but this time I managed to keep reasonably well covered. The place was packed. Eventually the yachts came in to view and already Skandia had a pretty good lead. Lots of helicopters buzzed around and hundreds of boats surrounded them as they disappeared. Had a meal at Doyles fish restaurant then went back to Sydney and chilled overlooking the Opera house in the Opera house bar. Sat on the wall reading and listening to 3 aussie girls chatting ...

Crawling and Falling

... it's difficult to manage anything at 200km ph), whilst hurtling to the ground. I loved every second of it. I'll research ways of converting the DVD and getting it on here for you to watch. And, it would seem that my Cheshire grin prevented the flappy wind face syndrome that almost everybody gets.....didn't do anything about the bingo wings though unfortunately. It was AWESOME. I spent Christmas with Katie and Matt (who've just got engaged ...

Stirring cow dung under the Aussie moon

... in the mundane chores of running the farm: feeding the goats, fencing, gathering eggs and chasing renegade geese back into the pen. Naturally, when the farm is a biodynamic one, there are additional chores: spreading tree paste (a mixture of clay, water and the all mighty cow dung) on the trunks of all fruit trees, planting very specific plats on the very specific hour of a very specific day, and digging around cow horn burial ...

Grote guana's. Ze cirkelden wat en gingen ...

Day OFF, 2. Versuch
