Sunshine Beach Surf Club Noosa

... be done. I'm not a praying man and accidents happen all the time all over the world but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the people will be ok.
The rest of the afternoon was spent surfing the net, eating lots of pizza, speaking to my mum, Hi Mum :) and shopping for supplies for tom as we're off to Australia Zoo with some friends we meet on Fraser Island so hopefully we'll have some happier stories and pictures from there.

... werent as busy and looked like something off the movie "the beach" it hard to plan making our own food or going out to buy beer when theres a pub downstairs that has $11 jugs of draught and $12 kick ass dinners. its a fairly small place so there not too much for party (for the first time since weve been here) but we still manage to find cool travelers to drink ...

The walk took along beaches and steep headland including a nudist beach which we had to skirt around keeping our heads bowed to the ground in case we saw something that would take away our innocence. We left Noosa the next day wanting to just stop and be on our own as we were tired of travelling and sick of backpackers. Because of this we decided to spend a whole week in Brisbane knowing there was perhaps not much to do there.

... The thing is there are sharks in the river, think sitting in a canoe in the middle of a black river with a shark turning around under you... But what you can't see doesn't bother you so maybe it's for the best the water is black. The reflections didn't disappoint, it really is like looking into a mirror when you look into that water and the dry white tree trunks that have fallen into the river are amazing - absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Both of us for were keen to see Australia outside of the city's so we were happy that our first stop was Noosa about 2 hours north of Brisbane on Queensland Sunshine coast. We had done the trip with premier travel buses, whose South American bus driver was very charismatic and atttentive of his passengers needs regularly offering a selection of music and telling us the sights out the window. ... but on a surf board. Noosa was packed this evening - but managed to find an Italian restaurant for food..........
