We took the opportunity to go on to the large shopping centre in Izmir
that has an IKEA as well as a large Tesco’s so that we could top up the freezer
with IKEA meatballs, although our main job was looking for a new duvet for our
bed.

The Datca is good!
... When we showed up we were amazing at how nice it was. The room, the pool, the beach, it felt like paradise. There were probably only 20 people staying at the hotel so it felt like Tracy and I had the place to ourselves. We went down to the beach and did some snorkeling, and then we tried to rent some wind surfing boards but just our luck the owner was having his siesta.
We had a nice relaxing night, and were treated like royalty :)
