Woke at 4:30am to catch our flight. Probably had about 4 hours sleep as my back was playing up ��. It was raining so hard this morning. Again it was very easy to get our tickets and board the plane The pollution in Beijing is even worse apparently so planes going there were delayed and forming a backlog so our plane was delayed by 45 mins as other planes went before us. ... until a young Chinese man spent 5 minutes on his internet on his phone working out directions for us. The subway station was absolutely packed. It was filled with people pushing and shoving to try and get through and wasn't a very pleasant experience. For lunch today we went to Simply Thai in the ifc Mall. The mall was waaay too rich, there should've been an alarm going off saying we were too poor to be there. Shops like Dior, Cartier, Tiffany and Co, Louis Vuitton, etc. There was a grand piano in the middle of the mall!
