Tuesday 17th
Ostensibly a free day. Sounds like bliss! That doesn't mean that we do nothing. Alex very kindly arranged for a group of us to take the high speed train to the airport and back just for the fun of it. The train only runs at the high speeds for a few hours each morning as they are doing maintenance. One way is 8 minutes. It was reminiscent of the Brisbane air train - or as it used to be, seriously under utilised! It cost us 120 ($25) ...

The problem with this choice is you spend the entire flight fighting injury to your elbow as every person making their way to the restroom and the drink cart crash into you every five minutes. While I feel for those seated in the window and aisle seats, it’s the poor soul in the middle who just doesn’t stand a chance in hell of finding a comfortable spot.
