What a whirlwind of a day today was. Renee and I were up by 8:00am so that we could have breakfast before meeting one of her coworkers to go shopping at 10:00am. We were then going to meet a different group of coworkers to shop in a different district at 2:00pm. They quickly return with that English-speaking employee whom saves you from starving to death. ... chicken out? I found a couple of dishtowels and hoped I could get a hold of the pan and get it out of the oven quickly enough not to burn myself or set fire to the towels. Dodged a bullet on that one, mental note add an oven mitt to shopping list. I made us a couple of salads and we had our first semi-homemade meal.

To help flush the Exjade through my system I have found drinking a lot of water and sweating it out works best, so off to the gym ...

... frequent Big Bamboos while in Shanghai, but there are some really important games on at the mo, and I'm loving having the opportunity to watch them on the big screen. Having said that, the Ranfurly Shield match against Wellington couldn't be found, so we had to satisfy ourselves with drinking beer and waiting for the result to come out on stuff. Another good result. What a month of rugby for Hawkes Bay, eh!
