Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

It was a genuinely good experience and with the good waiter who served us, well worth the effort.

Reasonably full we headed back to the pool ...

We boarded our plane and had great seats, more comfortable than usual and since the flight was only about half full, we had room to stretch out. The flight took off on time at precisely 4:50 p.m.      About an hour into the flight...we were east of Philidelphia over the Atlantic...the Pilot came onto the intercom and announced that they had a minor issue with the one of the ...
