Yesterday we arrived in a very sleepy little town by the edge of another large lake. Our aim was to catch a boat cruise down to the coast, see some turtles and return to Koycegiz. For us these Turkish Riviera Resorts are a real 'find' and match any in the rest of Europe .. they are beautiful.

... is a small town on the end of the peninsula. I was met by my host who took me to a beautiful farm just outside the main town. Turkey is exceptionally dry and they have few days of rainfall each year; the temperatures can be extremely high. I only arrived at the end of August, but even then temperatures peaked at 43 degrees!
