Vandaag ging over 12 uur in de bus zitten, de douane passeren zonder in de cel gegooid te worden en voor het eerst voet op Argwentijnse bodem zetten.

Addendum: As we got off the gondola, and walked towards the information booth, we were taken by surprise. In front of us, at the bottom of a stairway, stood a full size reproduction of Michelangelo's David. As it turned out, the art gallery attatched to the restaurant was featuring works by the Italian master. Who would have thought??

Argentina-Part 3 (Bariloche)
... for skiing and snowboarding were very poor. Oh well, we'll have to leave the snowboarding for another holiday! The hike up to the top of Refugio Frey was beautiful. Again, lots of lakes, forests, rivers and waterfalls and some beautiful bird life (one very friendly red headed woodpecker in particular). Through the rain!
After a rather chilly night sleeping on the floor I woke groggy hoping I wouldnt catch a cold! So cold I didnt want to shower as I didnt want to take my clothes off! Its still raining, so any hopes of a Hike are gone...so instead we headed into town for a cafe day (in full waterproofs!). We ate cake and did our journals, nice to relax actually.
