      ... line-height: normal;">Surrounded by our new friends from the Burma sailing trip, we toasted the new year, the spirit of travel and lit our own lantern that carried our collective wishes for 2015. 2014 had it's ups and downs, major life changes, celebrations. challenges and adventures. Overall, we counted our blessings for the amazing gift of life, our wonderful kids, friends and each other.

      ... We all got on the boat, the boat drivers had prepared rice, chicken with spicy sauce and fruit platter.. Wait, where is Lise? Geeze, Lise is in her own world still snorkeling, she could stay there forever!! But time to eat! Lunch was yummy!! Everyone ate with a lot of appetite!
      Next destination : the island made famous by the movie "The Island" ...we knew that it would be nice but OH MY GOD!! ...

      Today, we both woke up at a reasonable time since we didn't have to get up early to go on a tour. We got up at 7:30 and just before we were going to get ready, a lady walked in through our sliding door. She was talking really fast in a different language, at first I thought she was one of the staff but the staff would knock first. Dad was wondering how far she'd get until she realised that she went to the wrong room it was funny when she did. ...

      ... down to phangnan cave, we saw loads of wild monkeys on the way and loads of cute baby ones just chilling out on the beach!! The beaches looked much better once the sun had come out, and we eventually made it to the caves! It was very strange as it was filled with wooden willies and there were people praying to them... Well as you can imagine I just found this hilarious! Apparently it's to do with the locals praying ...
