Sunset Jeddah

Today because of late sleep. I woke up at 9 am. I took bath and ate break fast . me with my camera took a taxi to Al Barad.I took a walk . It was amazing to see this old part,many old buildings.

then i go to King Fahd fountain.It was beautiful and i like this very much.It is largest fountain in world.then I go to Al baik to eat lunch .It is my best ever restaurant.Food is delicious,ymm

I take a taxi to Makkah.I get there in a hour.Highways was fantastic.

I reach at King Abdul aziz International Airport at 1:50 am. After early customs I was free at about 2:30 am . Airport was large but dirty . Peoples were not helpful .I took a cab to Radisson blu Hotel.

Hotel was nice . I get to my room and sleep.
I cant see Jeddah because I was very tired.

... the colors were gorgeous, and although I had my camera and asked my husband if we couldn't try to surreptitiously take a quick snap he wasn't ready to take the risk. We bought some shrimp and headed for home. Unfortunately the shrimp smell remained in our car for the remainder of our trip, which is odd because that certainly wasn't the first time we've been to a fish market in that car and that hadn't happened before.

Arrived at last on UK don't care if its freezing cold, if its snowing, if there are gales, even 5ft of snow I don't care.......I'm just happy that I am safe...didn't really want to say how much I was frightened the last few days and didn't want people to worry but the tears of relief when that plane took off I have never felt before ...

At airport she has booked me on the flight tonight from london so I will have to stay in London over night and get a flight Sunday. She was really horrible this morning never even told me about my flights she left the house with not saying a word gave my passport to the guard and told then not to give me it till I was through immigration!!!! Think she sent the most run down car she could find to take me ...

Well I hope I will be on a flight tomorrow Saturday, finger crossed as yet I have not been told anything, not been given my passport back with exit visa, tickets etc etc. But the agency assures me it will be OK tomorrow!! The last few days have been very scary for me and very worrying as you hear so many stories, I just don't know if I ever want to come back it has been an experience to say the least.......mmmmm might write a book ...

Well I had a day off yesterday!!! I know someone who was working in Jeddah and I tagged along with her to the beach, it was just so nice to get out and be free!! Oh but I had to be back for 10/10.30pm (I felt like I was a teenager again being told what time I had to be back for, even though it was my day off!!!) But hey ho I was free for the day.i had a great time just doing nothing, we then went for pizza after wards and watched the thunder storm and the rain....yes it rained here lat ...

Sorry I have not done much on my Travel Pod but not really got the heart or mind to do it maybe after a week or so I might!! Need to get a leats a few photos before the end of March. At least I can say it was an experience and it will make me stronger as a person.

wow its been almost six weeks. time has gone so fast. been out to dinner, shopping and the beach - thats covers all the social things to do here! made some good friends and am looking forward to the year ahead. with everyone planning trips home this summer I'm gonna use the time to try and discover parts of the city ...
