... difference - it's right next to the airport and planes fly directly over the beach before landing. We saw several smaller planes like cessnas land, followed by an American Airlines jet. It was so cool to be standing on a beach with such a large plane overhead. We then returned to the ship and dressed up for formal night. We enjoyed our lobster with our great table mates, Jess, Ken, and Louise.

... It was hot and the water inviting, so I jumped into the water. Refreshing. And I wonder how much more different the water would feel if I had spent $40 going to another beach on the island? This was just next to the jetty from which I took the ferry back to the pier. The Eclipse was scheduled to sail at 5 pm, so I returned in time for a late lunch of burger at the outdoor grill.

... s departure for two weeks that began Wednesday, March 28. We departed Brewer’s Bay at 0830 for the short motor back to the Hassel Island anchorage. From there we could take the dinghy into the Crown Bay Marina where we could dock it and lock it. The airport is a reasonable walk from the marina.
