Note to cruisers: The anchorage next to Hassel Island, in East Gregerie Channel adjacent to Haulover Cut, has good holding and gets shielded in high winds by Hassel Island. Unsecured wifi access was a bonus. BUT – during the day, near continuous ferry traffic coming and going through Haulover Cut results in constant and quite large ferry boat wakes. In the future we would consider this as a backup anchorage ...
