    ... and out the door we raced to see the All-American College Band marching down Main Street. Tubas and trumpets blared and the rat-tat of the drum set the beat while saxophones, clarinets and a piccolo sounded out the American National Anthem and all sorts of other patriotic tunes.     ... but also a little out of date.

    We headed out to a Korean BBQ place for dinner, which was amazing - you ordered your meats/vegetables, which were brought to your table raw. There was a hot plate in the centre for cooking up your meals, which meant all the food was juicy and fresh when we ate it.



    Overall, it was a fairly chilled day (which we needed after the craziness of the day before).

    ... of a slight delay sitting on the tarmac waiting to take off in Dusseldorf for the final leg of our journey. No explanation was given as to why we sat there for 20 minutes half way to the end of the runway but we suspect that it was the weather. A storm cell came through that dropped a bunch of rain and blew the plane around with it sitting still. We were glad it worked out the way it did though. On the way in to land 3 1/2 hours earlier ...
