    ... the hotel, why not! Had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. What a place! Food is good and you can't not have cheesecake for dessert. I couldn't finish mine, but took it to go! Love that about America. Had a wander around the farmer's market and The Grove shopping centre, was really busy but quite relaxed. Nice cocktail to end the evening.

    ... few before heading back. The room was that hot that I couldn't sleep till 5am :( hostel life! We got up in the morning and hired pink and purple bikes for $13 for 3 hours and after teaching Cassie how to brake (pedal backwards) we were off heading towards Santa Monica on the massive bike trail. It was a great cruisey ride - took about 35 minutes. We locked our bikes up and found a pasta place for lunch on the pier before heading back towards Venice. We pumped ...

    My luggage ended up being okay and I could take some out of my backpack (thank heavens).

    ... retirees from San Fernando Valley who were on their way to the big smoke for their once a month lunch date. They asked if the Red Flower ladies would like to join them .... their group was called the OFC. (Just to keep you in the loop OFC = Old ***** Club ... And we declined....)     Really not looking forward to the next 15 hours. It's amazing how I forget how bad it is and raring to go do it all over again. FYI: TBT for your gate location at LAX does not mean To Be Determined. We hung around and ate at the terminal we landed at since we had 2 hours to spare until it was determined.
