Literally, Rajasthan translates into "king's land" and it is an appropriate name for the state. Each of the cities we've travelled to here have huge palaces overlooking them. The people dress elegantly with bright turbans and saris, golden earrings, and camel-skin shoes. Even most of our cheap hotels have had big rooms with royal red curtains (in Bikaner) or are decorated with Rajasthani art (Sunrise Hotel in Jodhpur). Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India adomingo4... electricity and things to do the birth rate is very high. Interneting was definitely out of the question while I was on the island, they exist but electricity is limited. Another cool thing was the bats, I have never seen bats like it they were huge like vampire bats.They were like something out of a horror film. If you want to get away then this place is for you but make sure you stock up on malaria tablets.
