... in mind that the donkey trail is the same steps that you use to get to the port so there is as you can imagine lots of pee and poo from the donkeys. Add 35 degree weather on that and you have yourself one stinky path.
Needless to say I felt bad for the donkeys standing there in the hot weather having to take lazy tourists down 588 steps and then turn around to go up another 588 steps. Although it was a stinky trail I am glad ...
Santorini rocks
... just before the lovely village of Firostefani and the church of Agios Gerasimos. From Firostefani we continued our walk towards Imerovigli, one kilometre away. As we approached Imerovigli we could see the imposing landmark, Skaros, aka, the big rock. We hiked to the rock and then up it...a bit scary but tres cool to watch the sunset from there. Next stop Oia. sorry for the plethora of sunset pix but they're so cool I couldn't decide which ones to publish...hope you enjoy!

Amazing Santorini
... one stage we had to back up just to let another car past, and that was on the main road from the airport.
