So we woke up early again today despite getting back so late last night! This was so we could go to the top of the Rockefeller building as we were gutted we couldn't go at sunset last night! The weather was amazing when we got up there - sun shining and no wind it definitely didn't feel like October! It was actually supposed to chuck it down this afternoon so we're actually very lucky we haven't experienced any rain as of yet! ...

... him later with a good tip. The ride to Battery Park, the southern most point of Manhattan took over an hour, working slowly through the traffic. At 4.45pm we returned to the hotel, no Sam around to book our night bus tour trip. We showed the girls our room and went ...

... station, you are greeted by the largest Macy's store on earth, which covers an entire city block, and a fantastic view of the majestic Empire State Building. There was more fabulous shopping on 34th Street so I spent the rest of the day shopping until my feet hurt. It was now rush hour and I was in no mood to fight the crowded subway in order to get home. Even though I had eaten so much at lunch and imagining that there was no way I ...

... off her foil and has a completely new meal delivered!! Good news! The inflight entertainment system is rebooted! Hurrah!! Our flight attendant "Lisa" is a real star. I ask her in a nonchalantly if she will be spending long in NYC. Spotting a discerning and cultured traveller she chats away enthusiastically as I helpfully pass over the debris from "bearded wonder" who by this time has had a sudden and worrying deodorant failure. The Virgin Pilot Boys land us safely and on time ...
