... pic). It was a great way to spend a few hours. We ended up at a gorgeous tea room called Alice's Tea Party - yes, you guessed it, it's an Alice in Wonderland theme. We ended up eating in Alfie's, where I ate Mac and Cheese, not sure why I ordered as I don't really like it anyway but I ended up ordering fried and leaving the mac ha! Our hosts in New York arranged for another assistant to meet us at 7pm. We killed time at TGI Fridays at the ...

Manuel laughed at us when we exclaimed, "Let us out of here. We wanta go home!" Big city life, masses of people, skyscrapers, honking horns, cars & buses going every which direction, always somebody selling something, garbage on curb, lines for everything......and heaven forbid that sunshine could bypass tall buildings and reach pedestrians!! Transit system with transfers ...

... I guess. We did manage to see the main features - the Brooklyn Bridge, a one second glance at Wall Street (oops may have missed it, there's no actual wall), the Freedom Tower and of course the statue everyone needs to photograph. Yes, everyone now click on mine. I did mention the ship was crowded. Well, when the Liberty Statue came into view most of the general rules of courtesy went over board!! My poor little wife was mobbed in ...
