    ... beautiful views and happily no problems with the quad bike, although we did round a corner to find a massive goat on the road and I got a fright (much to David's amusement) as I thought he was going to charge us! I think he was just as keen to want to get out of our way and ran up into the bushes.
    Back to the resort for a lazy afternoon of swimming, reading, resting and a few drinks on the balcony with our IPod and ...

    Tried on a few dresses (no good) and David booked a quad bike hire for the next 2 days so we can have a better look at the island. We abandoned our usual no/light lunch philosophy and ordered some calamari, saganaki and a greek salad to share. Needless to say it was sensational.

    ... know....when they just start up more quietly - oh that's an awesome sound. Not sure what it was, but a few things on the walk reminded me of my country; I miss Australia.
    There were sooooo many feral cats around, not good. We walked down to a nearby beach and out on the makeshift pier. The water was ever so clear and we liked checking out all the little fish.
    It was a great day :)

    The alarm blaringly sounded at 5.30 and at 6.15 we were showered and back on the bus to the airport. Our promise of being looked after at the airport didn't really happen, and we joined the same long awful lines with just one person checking us in.

    And I couldn’t believe when the hysteria started again at the check in counter, more spitting, more screaming haha. One old Italian Granny told another ...

    ... was reminded of how small the world has become when I saw that he had recently returned from a voyage aboard this ship. When I read a complimentary reference to Jade crew member Martina Huljev I was reminded of the difference between appreciation and recognition. Recognition is appreciation with an audience. I stopped one of the ship’s officers, Restaurant Manager Esteban Chorro, and loaned him my laptop so he could read Duigiud’s column. From ...
