... Brit and Claire invited the whole contingent to come and visit us on the yacht on Monday or Tuesday! Thankfully, though I'm sure they are a good crowd, the girls wouldn't have been able to describe where the yacht is currently moored! I call that a bonus.
We have just had breakky at Piece of Cake and now we're off to the Karakter Beach Bar. Should have a few good photos to post next update.
Travelled the last 180 km, to Wexford, mostly in pouring rain and fog, stopping at Dungarvan for coffee - looked like an interesting harbour town - and at New Ross for lunch. There is an 80+ year old Welshman I met last night who talked my ear off for an hour. Not sure what he does but he only charges $40 an hour at the most and hasn't changed his price since 1985! ... hit by falling masts and rigging I have nothing at all to complain about. It is simply astonishing when I saw the yacht being gently lifted and pulled out of such a mess that we suffered so little damage. I am simply astonished; I can't think of another way to describe it.

... we crossed the Barrow River on a car ferry to head to Hook Head Lighthouse. On the way out to the lighthouse we went through Templetown were we ate lunch. Across the road was the old Temple church ruin. After wandering around the ruin and taking a few pictures we drove on to the lighthouse.
