    ... unfortunately gone (metastasized) into his brain. They found one large operable brain tumor in his right hemisphere and one small inoperable brain tumor deep inside near his pituitary gland. They are stopping his chemo treatments and putting all efforts into the brain tumors. Bill has been stabilized with drugs and able to walk again (his left side was affected).     6-22-14 – Sunday

    After doing early morning laundry while the grandsons slept, we packed up camp and headed north along the Lake Michigan eastern coast. We heard about a house made out of 60,000 bottles on the road ahead and decided we needed to detour shortly and visit this oddity at Kaleva, MI, a quaint little town with lots of history.
