          We got to sleep in today. Left Anaheim at noon and got to Manhattan Beach by 1 PM.

          Of course Matthew headed straight for the water. Swimming was not in the plan but that changed. He couldn't resist the waves. After the beach, we walked out on Manhattan Beach Pier.           ... to have a better gander at the displays which were beautiful. There was a lovely cobbled street off Rodeo Drive with a few boutiquey shops that weren't designer but still had beautiful, high end, one-off fashion bits. It was a great experience even if we couldn't enjoy it fully and buy everything we wanted.

          ... Alex, and headed out for a night on the town. We had a great sushi dinner, and then went to a speakeasy style club/lounge called the Edison. Here we drank some classy cocktails as we watched the club's famous burlesque show.
