This is a class hotel location for visits to Barsa, airport bus leaves you 100 metres from hotel. Close by bars for food and drink. Central location for main attractions all easy walking distance. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff very friendly.

This morning Marky had Iberian brekky! I don't think he liked it all that much , but he certainly enjoyed the local 'good' red wine he had with it ! We then decided we'd see if we could find the Barcelona Cathedral which dates back to the 1200's. We spent quite a bit of time looking at all the alters dedicated to various saints. It was very …

We woke up early - very excited to be heading off to Barcelona today. Got to Heathrow and boarded at 9.30am. Then we walked to the Terramara hotel where Chantal had reserved a table on the terrace. We share a paella and sip wine/beer overlooking the ...

The drive was beautiful...very green. It is a cute town and we have spent the past couple of days on the beach enjoying the sunshine, fresh air, amazing ocean water, the view, listening to people from all over Europe. There are a lot of people from Russia...I met a family ...

... big thing on the street is the large open-air market called La Boqueria. Similar in concept to a farmer's market, this place sold literally any kind of food I could imagine; we passed stands that had anything from fresh fruit and smoothies, to ice cream, pizza, seafood, and pig legs. Basically, we made this our lunch/dinner (I don't really know what it is in Spain because it was like 4:00 in the afternoon), going from stand to stand ordering ...
