    Day Twenty Five - Sunset Cruise

    ... returning safely from sea. It was really small. We continued sailing up the coast, passing Oia, and then made it to the open sea. We watched the sunset, tonight was the best one yet. We also met a cool couple from LA on board, George and Roxy. They had hotel troubles too.

    We headed on back to the port after the sun went down and called it a night. Tomorrow we have a daytime cruise and hopefully I don't get sunburn.

    ... not a difficult hike, just make sure you have covered shoes, shades and water. Fira is the capital of Santorini and the most crowded town. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants there. If you like night life and party, it's your best bet compared to other islands though Santorini itself is not known for its nightlife.     ... Obama is and how good republicans are. He quoted me Plato for gods sake. There was also some woman was running around the fitness track (4 laps of the top deck = 1 mile) in black shorts and a strapless yellow going out shirt – weird ambience for the sunset – but I managed to capture some good shots and was happy to tick this place off my list of things to do. Be lovely to come back for longer but that wish is on another bucket list.
