... cream tikka, mutton curry, soups, ice creams and china grass, salads, and more..The Naans here are worth a special mention. absolutely perfect, cotton soft and simply delicious. Vegetarians will be disappointed.

... a few hours here as there is so much to see in terms of flora, fauna and birds.

From Kaas we headed towards Thosegar Falls a 1000 feet waterfall located approx 20 kms from Satara city.

A newly constructed viewing platform makes the experience thoroughly enjoyable. July to November is the best time to visit as you can enjoy the lush greenery of the Konkan.

A short distance away are the windmills ...

... traditional ayurvedic therapies in the traditional part of the hospital, not quite sure what to expect from those but we'll let you know... We also pick up our Sari's that we ordered when we went shopping with Madam (the most senior doctor in the hospital, who is also about 4ft tall) last week, we've had plenty of offers from people wanting to show us how to wear them properly so I think Wednesday evening is going to be pretty busy!

We saw a female singer give a few Adele songs her best shot and then a traditional group who played instruments like the Sitar to an electronic beat- which made for a rather interesting fusion of musical styles, however the food and cocktails were delicious and it was nice to catch up with Kelly one last time before we left her behind in Mumbai.

Thursday was also the Dahihandi festival, where groups of men ...
