... length of Vietnam's coastline from the island of Phu Phuoc, to Ho Chi Minh City's local resort at Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Danang, Hue and on up is made up of fabulous hidden and unspoiled fishing beaches. Many haven't changed in decades. Some are now sandwiched in between white sand resorts or walled off tracts awaiting development. One can only hope that the ageless way of life of boats, fishing nets and coracles (round bamboo fishing boats) somehow ...

... gave us amazing views despite having to enjoy them whilst having upside down! After a quick session on the bumper cars we found the arcade. This was a kids (and mine) paradise. Hundreds of games including dance mats, guns games, raging buffalo, car games etc. everything you'd expect in a normal arcade but everything was free! We spent well over an hour playing loads of different games. Chelsea won most of these including the dance mat, basketball and the raging ...

... 20mins, up a road into the hills overlooking the sea and the city down below until we reached another huge beach that was pretty much empty! There were a few shacky, very basic restaurants further down the beach so we headed over there in the hope of finding some surf boards. The people over there spoke barely any english, so after a fair bit of negotiating through sign language, we ended up paying a bit more for a better choice of much better boards ...
