Arrived in nha trang by train at 8am a much bigger place with a beach, with a lot of Russian tourists. Quick breakfast then off to see a fishing village (hon mieu island) and snorkelling/chilling on a boat next to tam island. Snorkelling was fun, saw some fish I have never seen before which was great! Pics to follow. Dinner in the restaurant next door to hotel and then off to the sports bar with the group for drinks. Vietnamese double vodka and Coke ...

The towers were pretty impressive being built between the 7th and 12th centuries on a hill so the towers themselves and the view over Nha Trang and the ocean was pretty cool. We spent some time looking around and taking photos before heading back to the hotel.
We spent the next few hours enjoying the pool in a shaded alcove then moved inside for a few games of pool........we ...

We told them to go into the cafe, which they did, so that made me feel better about fobbing the lady off. It was nearly empty when we were there. Reading on Trip Advisor many other people had a similar view to me- why the hell is a place like that not busy?! Ross said they were looking for a certain bar, so after we ate we went to find it and meet ...

... the side view. Despite this problematic morning the cookery class began with an informative tour of the market to then later cook the ingredients to produce 3 delicious (if I do say so myself) dishes of our choice: spring rolls (of course, but properly from scratch this time), cao lau and chicken and ginger in a clay pot. What gorgeous flavours! I can't wait to whisk my chopsticks and recipes back to try my skills on people at home (don't all rush at once). Sadly it was time to ...

... fellow Canadian came along with me me for the day. Everything was fairly close, so getting around wasn't an issue. The Cham Temple was beautiful. Its construction began with its main building in the 8th century and was finished in the 13th century after four smaller buildings were added around it. It reminded me a bit of Angor Wat. It didn't take us long to go through, but the views were amazing. I tried to capture a couple favourites but ...
