    Arrived in Venice Saturday which is a destination I enjoy,maybe as it is surrounded by water. Saturday wandered Venice checked the Opera house and boarded the Ship on Sunday afternoon ending a casual stay enjoying the warmth.     ... would not see and floating obstacles like lost containers off ships which one would hopefully see.!!!!. The dashboard light was really bright even after Kirk lowered it so I used my visor to cover the dash light so I could see the ocean ahead.     ... are tiled in Grecian blue and have a blue Perspex roof. It feels as if one is in the ocean. in fact all the facilities there were 5* with scourers, detergent, washing powder, washing machine, fridges and 3 ply loo paper provided, at no extra cost!

    We had an interesting evening chatting to a couple we had met in Valbone a few days before. I learnt some useful things one of them being that I should buy the cheese (feta-ish) ...

    ... of streets and buildings in various states of repair. There were also a variety of plants , gardens and livestock throughout the back streets.


    We do enjoy the street food and had a tasty giros for lunch. The homemade pita bread was light and crispy if a little salty. As the temperature was close to 30C we needed to rehydrate before heading up the hill and a swim as we got back to camp.
