... George and I are both still healthy, all limbs still attached so going swell. We have our weekend off now- back to volunteering next week so we're going to go off and see the sights, enjoy the markets and getting our first rain this morning ( - though it's humid so still warm.... ... br> Lunch was at a local restaurant that seems to be very popular. We saw some fantastic kids harmonizing and dancing to their tribal songs. The lunch itself was a lot of meat and corn meal. Haha. Three different types of corn meal to be exact. I liked the plain white corn meal that you put a well spiced sauce on- just like mashed potatoes and gravy in the states.

... small rooms for 8 people. We were then taken into a crèche where there was over 30 children under 5 being cared for by 2 women in a very small 2 room corrugated shack. We finished this brief 25 minute walk and then were presented with the souvenir sellers who split up to take one tourist each and sold us some small stone carvings which we really didn’t want. ... myself to drink as much as possible but even so feeling fuzzy and even the shade is no cooler. Today I had a shift between 11 and 1 on the game drive entrance in full sun and even though I had applied factor 50 just before I started still got sunburn on my shoulder that was facing the sun, not fun, but the animals seem to cope better than us, but all they have to do is lie around looking cute.
