... we got on another bus that took us to the airport building. It was extremely dreary and pouring rain, so it was difficult to see how beautiful the city actually was. This includes extreme jet lag and no sleep.

Once we got off the bus and stepped into the extremely small airport, we went to baggage claim. We picked up our bags from the conveyor-belt very easily, it didn't take long at all ...

Day two began much like the first, getting up early and at the airport. This time it was off to Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland. Our flight took off at 7:45 am and we landed just before 9:00am. Going from rainy Paris to sunny Zurich was refreshing even though it was still chilly, and windy when you got closer to Lake Zurich. Clean, friendly, attractive looking area with great, helpful staff and signage everywhere. It was so easy. Next we boarded the Glacier Express. I don't know whether it's the tax free bank accounts in that place that has everyone smiling but jee whiz, everyone was chatty, helpful ...

... and coffee, and then another round of coffee and cake. Switzerland is an expensive place, it wasn't a cheap lunch! Our flight took about 1 1/2 hours to arrive in London.

London finally! We found the Tube station easily inside the airport and boarded the Piccadilly line for our trip to Gloucester Road where our hotel is located. About 4 stops into our journey an announcement came that there was a delay up ahead as a person was under ...

... up to him to see if he was alright, and he said he was fine, but it scared the hell out of me (...and I think Chris too)! Inside the hotel lobby, I could tell that he was out of it even though he said he was fine, so we requested an additional fifteen minutes before regrouping to see the Chapel Bridge. While waiting for our bags in the room, I routinely quizzed Chris. "Do you feel dizzy?" "Is your vision blurry?" "How's your head?" "Do you want some water?" "Really, are ...
