As we near Zurich, we fly over the Alps. What an impressive mountain range with snow caps that look so high you could reach out of the plane and touch them.

... it. Slowly. It was a beautiful day, with clear blue skies, brilliant sun shine, and no hint of yesterday's rain. We went for a nice walk around the city, up and down the promenades, along the river side and eventually down to the lake where all the action was. We found out that our train tickets entitled us to a free boat ride so we jumped on the next boat and went for a tour around the lake. I say around, but really we didn't even get close. It was massive! Like ...

Wow lucerne is amazing! We woke up this morning and went grocery shopping got some goods for the next few days! Then we headed down to the lake a rented a paddle boat for 2.5 hours! Great deal cost us each about 20 and it had a slide on it and a platform in the back! We paddled out to the middle of the lake and enjoyed a some wine and champagne while tanning and swimming.. And of course going off our slide! Just imagine 35 degrees, cold ...
