      ... are in German. We did dinner in a little Italian place nearby and were in bed nice and early with only minimal fighting over who is sleeping in which room...we have 2 rooms next to each other with 3 beds in each! Tomorrow we wanted to head out to the Uetliberg which is a mountain overlooking Zurich that has snow on it and is a nice nature area where we can walk around. We will see it this go as planned..! ...

      ... in a darkish corner where there was a Picasso hanging above our shoulders, with no protective alarm or any device to secure it. One could just pick it up from the nail hammered into the wooden covered walls. It was surreal but worth the experience.

      Walked up the lakeside to Stadelhofen station, visited Bretzelkonig and took train one stop to the main Zurich station. We then went into Schwerizeriches Landesmuseum to find that the Swiss Pass fully covered museum admission AND they had a free app to download that contained an audio guide. App was worth what we paid for it. WiFi was weak and whenever comms were disrupted the app would ...

      Woke up at 8:40 am - yahoo! Life is good. Did some shopping (never too late to shop) and walking around. Lucerne is a pocket size version of Zurich and has a much better feel. Zurich is just a big city whereas Lucerne has more charm and is easier to get around on foot. At mid day we hoofed it (meant to stroll) from our hotel to the train station to catch the train (the right one) to Zurich. As there was time to spare (15 minutes), I went to get coffee and donuts.       ... bike to my nephew's place at Etagnière, remove the battery and put it to bed until we go adventuring again.

      Europe is a wonderful place to visit but the ever increasing traffic is getting more difficult to deal with and it certainly puts one's patience to the test. That being said, I will be returning next year to visit some other exciting and magnificent destinations.
