Journey By Junk
... but with only half that number on board we had plenty of space to stumble around in. Meal time was a great opportunity to meet all of our fellow travelers and pick up tips on future sites we need to visit. Sailing Through Never Never Land
... the islands; Being so low in a small kayak was
truly the greatest part of the day as we were able to row through some of the
smaller grottos created by the wind and waves. That evening we enjoyed a nice
dinner on board and spent the rest of the night in a small bay on the top of
our boat sharing and listening to travel stories from around the world.

So once again, this entry is started with another bus trip, one that has surpassed the number of fingers and toes we both have but for once surprisingly went without a hitch. We were picked up on time, in a nice air conditioned bus, and taken on a smooth road out to see what is almost a world phenomenon. After all the bus rides we had told James about he thought we were soft but he was soon to find out for himself about a rough ride, which we'll talk about later. ...
Arrival at Halong Bay
... that the market was inflated, perhaps catering largely to a passing tourist trade. Nonetheless I helped myself to a vegetable and tofu fried-noodle dish which was I managed to make tasty after I had rigorously applied lashings of chilli and garlic!
