We then toured Marine Drive, which gave us a good view of the city skyline. I didn't take any pictures as the view was obscured with smog.

Our guide then headed off to "the Hanging Garden" part of the tour. Unfortunately, due to a funeral procession, the road was blocked by thousands of white clothed Muslims, and it was impossible ...

The Indians seem to let all these buildings run down & there doesn't seem to be any major construction or reconstruction in this area anyway since the British left in 1947.
Anyway a good walk & plenty to see & take photos of.

All done by hand and returned washed, ironed and very clean to the owners a week later. Here we met one of several young men selling their wares, and US$5 bought three bags!

... cyclone which was causing havoc north west of Australia above Perth. We finally set off at 11.30 at night, exhausted but obviously unable to get any sleep at all! The night was spent with many films until 7 am came when we finally got some sleep, some being about half an hour.
