... over night!
It was a lovely cool, clear morning. Looked like being perfect weather for running.
We boarded buses at 7:45 for the 2 hour trip to the start line. We were to run over the ranges and finish at the lodge where we were staying.
The bus was of the school variety, hard seats and no head rests, and laboured up and over the mountains with a long queue of traffic behind it.

... have I forgotten anyone? I don’t think so - all present and correct and what a fabulous evening developed. A lot of wine (there’s a surprise!) some fabulous food, all put together by Rachael and her elf helpers, and some absolutely cracking company. Life could not get much better than this! ... races for a time,then we started back to the ship,but on our way back,we decided we would take a walk around the bottom of the Mauao, a local hill,which had several ways around it.It took us about 40mins to go round,then we headed back to the ship which was about another 15 mins,so by the time we got back we were very tired,but had really enjoyed the exercise and scenery, another brilliant place.
