I have been planning this trip for a long time - working out how to organise the business, look after my house, pay for the trip and make sure the kids are ok to planning where to go, visas required and jabs (ouch...) but I didn't foresee this last bit as being such an emotional turmoil. We come well rested and prepared. We know it is going to be a big weekend. The question is are we ready for it? I have my newly acquired All Blacks Jersey nicely tucked away in my bag.

... the rock we went to a floating island for lunch then went kayaking. I say we went kayaking very loosely. Two of us got on the kayak and a man rowed it for us - definitely living in the dream. There was no surprise that the man rowing our kayak was messing around with us and we throughout that he was joking when he told us to climb out the kayak and stand on a branch of a tree for a photo which looked like it had a max weight of 20kgs not 120kgs.
