... Sunday night - a delicious Italian restaurant called Quo Vardis. Not a real lot of interest in Swan Hill but we did visit Lake Boga, which has been bone dry since 2003. It is 8kms wide x 3km long. In 1942 during WW II a RAAF No 1 Flying Boat Repair Depit was set up. Extensive buildings and hangers were built to cater for 1500 servicemen and women and it remained fully operational until 1947. There is absolutely nothing remaining here ...

We were told of the "Steve Irwin" look-alike, so we decided to head inland for a couple of days to spend some time with the Daltons. Nisele,Wynita and childrin, live on a farm in Victoria. We fished for Murrey Cod in the Great Murrey River, hunted roos ("professionally") played on the sandbar in the river, caught "yabbies , and had an awesome time with our new friends. 

... the way the other states have done it the public get beautiful sporting facilities!! So its a lot quieter here now, good meals, Elle can have a thrill and waste $20, they have a huge empty car park and the manager says he cant see anything parked there " I see nuffing" !!! Sounds good !!!!!

... to the Pioneer City Caravan Park with Ken's assistance. It was a great caravan park with a jumping pillow and swimming pool, and for $10 per hour you can hire quad bikes.  We'll do that tomorrow.  While Mum and Dad set up the caravan, we were able to play on the jumping pillow. We had a great day that first day and I was hoping that we could have an even better one tomorrow. By Darcy.

... now, but a bit about the history of the various areas - it was a nice experience. We came back to Swan Hill just in time to miss the passenger train arriving at the station, then back to the van for lunch, and now am writing this log. As it is raining on and off still, I plan to process some photographs this afternoon, after I have loaded this up. We move from here on Tuesday, and I may not get to load anymore up before we get home at the end of the week.
