Of course, I'll have to drive more than a couple hours a day and stay fewer than 5 days in one place if I want to get to FL ...

After the very long drive it was late by the time we got to Lake Tahoe and we could only just see the lake which is huge the town is busy all year as they play on the lake during summer and then ski in winter, we passed some very big houses.
We were looking forward to waking in the morning and seeing the lake.

proper day in Reno today, we really wanted to go to Virgina City but
unfortunately it's impossible unless we hire a car. So we've spent
the day getting our laundry sorted, it's not a great loss as we saw
Reno in 10 minutes last night. We did really want to go see Lake
Tahoe but the smoke is meant to be really bad there as its closer to
... and the next three days were filled with eating, drinking and chores. Laundry, maintenance on Blue and catching up on this blog were priorities. Mostly we stayed around Chris’ compound, enjoying home cooked meals, beer and late night libations in front of the fire off of the patio.
