Arrived around 5pm.
Reception was quick and informative. Our room is perfect for our needs and at $129/night probably the cheapest we could have found.
We can walk to he centre of town within 5mins.

... way. The highlight of the day were the gibbons. They are on an island and one of them decided to put on a show for us. He climbed onto 2 ropes that go to the next island and posed for us before going to the second island that had rope swings etc where he proceeded to swing from one to the other and standing and posing with his arms in the air as if to say, I am the best. ... in his size. From here it was blur but we saw lemurs, gibbons, then to the hippo feeding. There was a cute little baby hippo and happy showed us his skills for getting his teeth grinned by the keepers. It was amazing to see how big their mouths are when opened as wide as they can. From here it was to the elephant talk where we met "Cuddles" the African elephant who showed us her abilities to wave with her trunk and flap her ears. We had a lunch ...
... and my Visa rerun wasn't happening until then. Dale arrived at home after a few days in Sydney, we compared notes and exchanged a few things and ideas. Next Tuesday we leave. Hope this visa thing sorts out so I can focus on getting packed and can finally see myself in Delhi this time next ...

It was rather sad to leave Mt Morgan as we enjoyed our stay in that sort of family atmosphere but alas we are heading south and that means to be on the move! Our first stop was at a place called Duaringa, where we had our first stop for a cup of coffee. There were two Italian Backpackers with a Ute and big Generator with a Coffee machine trailer and some Goodies to eat, now how can you resist that!!!! It was set up ...
