Arrived around 5pm.
Reception was quick and informative. Our room is perfect for our needs and at $129/night probably the cheapest we could have found.
We can walk to he centre of town within 5mins.

Another lovely day today. After having morning coffee decided to do some craft. Ed went to river to pump water again for tank.
Sitting here quietly, Ed was concerned about two young children who were playing near the river, the little girl climbing out onto a fallen tree in the river.

We opt for the bikes, even though neither of us has had muck bike riding experience in the last 30 years.. my bum still hurts!
If you go out there, there are some fantastic options available to you, especially on weekends, which we missed out on.

From there we went to Dubbo, the main attraction being the Western Plains Zoo (you can drive through the zoo at your own pace and stop when you felt like it. A pass will allow you two consecutive day visits - good value and fun to see

... A week after they left, Lindsey’s mom came and we did a house cleaning. We swept and mopped all the floors, tidied up the rooms, changed the sheets, did all the washing and everything.
