Pack and Go

A travel blog entry by pixeltoy

Ok, Dubbo for the uninitiated. 2 days is more than enough. Without the zoo there isn't much else to do in this town. Strange though as it is a 'large' country town with a healthy 41000 population. Sunday the streets were dead. The main road was quiet. The shopping centers are small (similar to Plumpton or Stocklands) and the quality of food from …

The ambient temp hit 39 today with an expected 40 for Sat and Sun. We have our Zoo encounter on Sat with safari at 1045am. With the gear and sun expected for Sat it may well be an authentic experience

This morning, I realised this would be the last time we ...

The Western Plains Zoo is an extension of Sydney's famous Taronga Zoo. Initially the entry cost seemed high ($65 for 2) but after the visit ...

Arrived around 5pm.
Reception was quick and informative. Our room is perfect for our needs and at $129/night probably the cheapest we could have found.
We can walk to he centre of town within 5mins.
