... Al needed a bit more than a flick - a bit of a kick too - but we got the wind flowing through our hair (and manes) and enjoyed some lively canters through the most amazing mountain scenery. Unlike Al, Reuben was off like a rocket!

Halfway through the ride we reached our highest point and gave the horses a rest and took in the views of Black Tusk Mountain in the distance. ...

... were hungover and tired so we stopped and got coffee and breakfast at Tim Hortons. Continued on to the ferry terminal where we were advised that the 10.30am ferry which we wanted to catch was full and we had to wait to 12.30pm for the next one. We thought it was bad karma for smuggling the boys in! The ferry is $50 for the car plus $17 per adult passenger. So instead of paying $100 for all 3 of us, I paid $70. I just hid them under my bed built in at the back and near the seats. ...

... didn't seem too long but as the climbs and descents were so steep our average speed was lower that what it would have been back home.Such a wonderful experience and to do it with Alan and many new friends from Canberra and around the world has been such a memorable experience. It was strange riding today because I wanted it to go fast so we could finish but at the same time it was so enjoyable riding these new tracks. We had presentations soon after finishing and having ...
