... the Village Square along the walk by the forest & river, away from the main road. We bought pasta & fruit at the Grocery Store (the only supermarket in town which has a very extensive range) for dinner as we have a microwave in the room. Interestingly, they are trying to do away with plastic bags in Whistler, so each bag costs 5c.
Back at home, we did washing & wrote postcards as well as catching up on the internet.
    We walked 7 kms today.

... up early to complete the last 6.5hours and had to complete it in a similar timeframe as I had to work that evening. We awoke to fun pics and drunkard conversations with our friends who'd been out watching the rugby...six nations had begun and we would normally be in the pub with them, but it was our last day in Whistler and the sun is shinning! At the top of the mountain things got busy, it was Presidents weekend for America and we had a few more visitors. ...

... top of an amazing cliff and river .... and grabbed some lunch .... It was 3pm. Heading along the windy road again, at times only driving 10mph. The trucks are still coming straight toward us and the cliff is MY side! Every so often is a bridge to cross ... One lane so you just close you eyes and hope a truck isn't coming the other way. Well I did .... I hope Kevin didn't. Driving on for about 50 miles we smelt the brakes starting to get a tad hot, so we pulled up and let ...

... the place was spectacular. We had been used to being cramped up in a small cabin at sea for the last week and now we were in a place which was almost twice the size of our house. We were sharing one place with Carrie's family and Bob and Sue were sharing the other one with Erik's family. We were very appreciative of Erik for providing the place for us all. We had room service for dinner and then to bed, after a very tiring travel ...
