      ... certainly been the most exciting activity we have undertaken , we have not done everything we wanted to do along the way so that we could do this as nothing is cheap. As a side note this is area inhabited by bears however they don't like the warmer weather and stay higher on the mountain , so we didn't see any. Apparently they eat 100,000.00 berries 23 hours a day to stock up on fat reserves for the winter ...

      We ended up getting as far as Kamloops yesterday after travelling through some very different country. We went from high Rocky Mountains with lots of fast running rivers to quite sparse but still mountainous country. The other photo of Seton Lake there is a hydro electric station there.       ... the race celebrated its 30th Anniversary just like ME!

      The Race Route for 2014 started below the Saddle in Glacier bowl, then under the Peak Chair and along the left of the Reservoir. It then heads down Little Red Run, Upper Franz and Lower Franz, crossing over to Lower Dave Murray at the top Frondola, above Coaches Corner, and finish just above Dusty's in Creekside.
