    ... surroundings. I don't normally get to partake of my mid-day meal in such spectacular surroundings.

    We had a bit of a tour of the visitor's center, and then drove the 36 to 34 loop back to our hotel for a nap. We managed to pack in quite a bit in our 6.5 hours.

    ... on the wrong side of the road at all-yet. The gps took us through a place called Central City & we wouldn't have seen it otherwise, but the streets were really narrow & windy & they were full of casinos. Today was a long day, couldn't find anywhere to camp the night & it was getting late so found a nice little scenic spot beside a lake & camped there.

    ... you dont get up quickly you dont go! We left the hotel with water carriers, torches, gps and camera at 0520. We drove into Arches NP and was at the start point at 0545, I warned Tegan that we would be going fast. It was dark and cool with a nice breeze and we flew up the trail.
