After another 15 hours on a bus that stank of dead dogs, we arrived absolutely knackered in Hua Hin. We spent the first night in an over-priced, non-descript hostel, then headed to Pattana Guesthouse which was amazing! Fairy lights and wooden animals everywhere, terrapins swimming in the plant pots and our room was practically a tree house! We had a balcony. We loved it.

... Todellakin reppureissausmainen aamupala, kuten asumuskin. Noh, kun kerran halvalla saatiin niin eihän tästä valittamaankaan voi alkaa!

Seisovasta pöydästä löytyi todella länsimaalainen kattaus: Paistettuja perunoita, kananmunia paistettuna eri tavoin, nakkeja, salaattia, paahtoleipää, muroja, hedelmiä, mehua ja maitoa. Kaikki maistuivat tutulle poislukien nuudeleita kananmunien kanssa, johon sekaan oli laitettu jotain erikoisia kasviksia.

... Thao Kosa Forest park. You can also climb to the top of the mountain to a view point which has a few nice caves along the way too. However, anyone who's been to the lagoon at Railay beach in Krabi, will know what to expect in order to get to the view point here, though this one isn't quite as tough going as Railay's. ... and what they ate (cooked whole chickens, goats milk, etc). It was very cool to see them so close up, and there were also other animals at the temple like a cheetah, water buffalo, pigs, deer, reigndeer, etc. It was a fufilling experience and I was just glad I was not eaten or anything.
