Our day started out very cool. It was only in the 50's and cloudy. We left the campground around 8 am and headed west. We had to cross the Continental Divide today.

We traveled along the Arkansas River through the mountains. What a beautiful ride. It was a gentle ride too; not many ups and downs. The scenery was breathtaking. We passed through a few small towns, but overall we were in the wilderness. We crossed the Continental Divide through the ...

It is amazing how quickly nylon dries in the sun with a little wind. Diner was at the local Black Eye Pea ( yea, I didn't know they were still around) and it was very good. Back to the room to turn in and prepare for tomorrow on the ...

Tis morning found us in Fallon, NV and heading out on Highway 50 for, we thought, Delta Utah and then on to the Top of the Rockys Rally. Notice that I said "we thought". At the first gas stop on Highway 50 Greg says he has figured out why the K1100 is running so warm. It seems that the radiator cooling fan had ceased to function and the engine was heating up significantly on the long upgrades. Lucky for us, ...
