I'm still feeling sick so didn't sleep well last night. I started the day with an antioxidant rich brekky- pineapple, green melon, rock melon, water melon, strawberries and banana and the we started the day by going to Beverly Hills and Rodeo drive. As we'd already won, when The Rays didn't score in the final innings (9th) the game ended on their last hit rather than passing the batting over to the Dodgers for their final innings. Oliver warned me this might happen, I'm glad he is so into sport or I'd have been waiting for them to finish the game as everyone else was leaving the stadium.
A very pleasant final day. Now off to book a shuttle to the airport for our flight tomorrow night.

We finally left Carmel-by-the-Sea at 11am, for a supposed five hour journey via highway 101 to Los Angeles airport. Not so! Despite not stopping even once for photos, it still took some eight hours to take the drive south. We first went to Salinas, which is only 32 kilometres from Carmel, before hitting highway 101 and driving through the food bowl of California. We ate at TonyRoma's at Universal City, which was ok, but not the best meal we have had out here so far, the service was pretty quick so we were done by 8pm and decided we would head back to downtown LA for some beers. Shame we both fell asleep on the train back towards the hotel, it turns out we were both pretty shattered so the drinks were canned and off to our room we went. Oh well there is always tomorrow! ...
