... The balloonoh was a lot of fun, landed in a lot of cots, flew out the window and was quickly retrieved and went home with a very proud looking boy.
A little boy called Samkele lives on the ward (his Mum died in the hospital and he seems to be here all the time, not sure if he sleeps there too or goes home with one of the staff) and he loves to ride around on all the nurses trolleys delivering the food and fresh sheets, he also isn't very god at sharing "his" staff and ...

... friends with a group of monkeys. Some of the young ones were chasing each other around and one was pulling apart the new thatching on the camping huts and it's all fun and games until someone decides to steal Clare's crisps and sit on Sparky refusing to move or let anyone into the car! Eventually we did get going after checking for monkey stowaways in the boot and back seats.

... we accidentally flashed with the camera and sprinted off away from us. There were lots of ostriches around towering above the grass, much taller than the zebras (Mum, I think they weighed about 5000kg) and decided we wouldn't want to take one on outside of Sparky. Apparently the advice is to stick your arm high above your head and make a beak with your hand if you do ever end up in and ostrich stand-off.

After a total of 19,000 km we have returned to Johannesberg. A City, called Place of Gold, has attracted only workers and fortune seekers since diamonds and gold were discovered in 1600's. Meeting the stereotype of a business center, JoBerg is mostly populated with an unknown number of illeagal immigrants of neighboring countries.
