I walked to the restaurant and went out to the deck to observe the view. It was a great view from here too. An interesting sight was to see where the grass had been burnt and where it hadn't. We did a 10 mile walk in the Giant's castle park called the World's View trek. The mountains were gorgeous with fantastic panoramic views. Words can't really describe it and I doubt the pictures really do either but they'll give you an idea at least.

... tiny little car, Sparky (oh dear, not a good sign). The entry to the park was only 2 each, so very much Kruger's baby brother. After exchanging our facebook details for the ranger's mobile number in the hope that he'd come to the rescue in the potential case of car disaster, we set off into the reserve.
