    ... the strait that separates Italy from Sicily, the Strait of Messina and that was very picturesque. Lots to see on both sides through the binoculars. Had an Asian style buffet lunch, coffee and dessert downstairs, a nana nap and more swimming. The girls, Lance and Michelle went for a workout at the gym.     ... the Carbirineri we couldn't go into St Peters Basilica till the afternoon and we'd have to que up with everyone else. We entered the Vatican museum and saw so much opulence.     ... silent for 23 hours a day in solitude in their room. They also produce this 90% proof liqueur that we tried at dinner. In their chapel there were angels faces carved into the seats and underneath the seats when lifted up show the different devil faces. The girl giving us the tour works at the local restaurant that provides the monks with their daily meals. They also have lay people to help with upkeep. Our meal at the ...
