Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

In passing through this revolution, our chastisements have been sever, and our calamities have been many; but we should do well to remember, that this great change is of Him, who does all things wisely, and 'According to the counsels of His will.’ "

... no food of any kind, packaged or unpackaged, no carved wood items, etc. There are all sorts of restrictions. The only problem we had in customs was that Peety's passport wouldn't scan, so we had to go talk to someone else who looked at Peety's driver's license and deemed him okay. Everyone was really nice, and we were even told we didn't have to scan our luggage like everyone else was having to. Not sure why, but we were ushered right through.
