We were invited out with some of the staff on Tuesday night to Laowi Town to a quiz night which was good fun. We then met Silvie, the CP at Munchner Biergarten, the German bar on Wednesday and the Italian restaurant Thursday evenings.

... and the leaves begin to change color. There is nothing like Fall time in New York, and I’m upset that I’m missing it. I know that I should feel extremely blessed to have had this opportunity to come to China, but I can’t help but miss home all the time. I put the pumpkin down and followed my family out. I am trying to take it day by day here, and I keep telling myself that this is my fake life. My real life is waiting for me on the other side of the globe. ...

... a lot more difficult than the other au pairs’. I often find myself dealing with tough situations. Maybe im put in them because I CAN handle them. This week is a national holiday and my host siblings have off from school. This means that I will be teaching English for about six hours a day 0_0. I don’t think that I can even speak for that long let alone explain what I’m saying. My host mom tried to take away my free Monday next week and tried to replace ...
