          ... waiting for some drunk folk to stumble out of the bars or clubs and demand a ride somewhere further. Of course there was practically a legion of these jackasses sitting waiting for that same fare. So I turned around and asked a bike taxi guy who looked at my little Chinese address card and nodded.           ... by the language barrier was in the operating theatre, because having five people talking in a strange language whilst trying to put a drip into you is actually quite scary and a bit like an alien abduction.

          So that's Hong Kong hospitals. Nice as my time was, and even fancier as I'm sure you could go at a private, it's made me really appreciate the NHS. Having to pay every single time you go to the doctors is not a sensible way to live.
