Well I'm getting quite excited now! last night I met Colin, Wendy, Leigh and Sarah, 3 of the team that will be riding with me. They were all really nice and Wendy had even made me a leather waistcoat but I might have to cut down on the doughnuts as it was a little snug!
It was good to meet them all and we discussed the trip, what gear everyone was taking and what the weather would be like. I told them that the sun always shines up North! but I don't think ...

... br>There’s an excellent take in the movie ‘Swades’ where Mohan (Shah Rukh)
is on a local train that comes to a halt in some village in Northern
India. On the platform, there’s a little boy who’s running and
screaming, ‘water for twenty five paise’! Up until then, Mohan hadn’t
touched anything but bottled mineral water but for some reason he buys

I've always thought about blogging and sharing my experiences with
people out there but have never got round to it. This movie has somehow
convinced me to start one! (and you too Vishal!!) and what more than to start blogging about
my journey to India!(Exactly 2 weeks from now, I'll be flying out to
Mumbai!...for the very first time!)

We returned home at around 11ish. I was packing my new goods (didn't fit my suitcase so had to carry it with my black bag). I also went online using Angela's netbook. I finally gotta use a computer during my trip!!! The netbook was quite slow... and I just purchased one online today :P
The next morning Uncle drove me to the airport. We had some pastry on our way there. The flight back ...
Canterbury, United Kingdom heiko... it would have been like back in the 1400's to arrive upon the great archway of the Cathedral and behold the sight of this amazing piece of art! (One can only wonder why Chaucer failed to make an account of his pilgrims stopping off for a caramel macchiato at the Canterbury Starbucks for one last coffee talk prior to ending their journey [see photo]). The Cathedral was an architectural masterpiece ...
Canterbury, United Kingdom carly819... Now this is not actually an English term, but a South African one. Since I first heard it here though, it is included in this list. A Happy Clappy is the term used for a certain type of South African who speaks in tongues and likes to sing and dance in church. Hiya: This is a form of greeting, usually pronounced in a nasally cockney-like accent. This is one I don't think I will EVER hear myself repeating. Along the same lines is 'You Ohright?, another one that really grates. Of ...
