On the way back from the Everglades the driver decided to change the order of our afternoon due to impending thunderstorms. We ended up being early for our newly booked boat ride at 2:30 and spent an hour wandering around a market area that was a little like darling harbour, eating the worlds most expensive low fat, low sugar soft serves. The boat tour was really ...

... 5 day boat – which I really still want to do was also out of my price bracket so I got two flights – one from Panama to Fort Lauderdale and then another from Fort Lauderdale to Colombia for well under half the price of the boat and speaking from experience saved the additional 50 quid for a bus ride south in Colombia by simply flying over it.

This also gave me a rather unexpected but not unwelcome little side trip to Miami where I would have Will Smith stuck ...
