A midday dock saw us at Nassau in the Bahamas. A new Island to us so we were on new territory. As we didn't dock until midday we had plenty of time to have a leisurely breakfast. Things are looking grim, still no steak and eggs and only tomorrow unless they change the menu for next week. ... excursion to Atlantis was around $60 per person- we got our own way there for under $4 per person! Because it was the beach with access from the hotel it was not crowded compared to the public beach. Nicaela, Marc, and I got some deck chairs with shades and relaxed while the kids played in the clear blue water. It was just stunning- the sand was so white! ... to the Pirate's museum which was air conditioned. A little bit of shopping for a birthday gift for Sarah...a Birthday in Nassau. How exotic! Back on the boat just before 3.30pm. Barely had time to have a shower before we were pulling out of port.... Got some photos, but largely only from a distance unfortunately. Had a sleep then out to dinner at the Wind Star with Em, before a night out... The Brits... Great show sat right up ...
A lazy start with swim in beautiful clear waters - good job as later we saw sharks and rays nearby! ... and, although did not seem strong, clearly was there as we found out when we stood up and walked off :-) not drink from just one drink (hic ) but certainly a little tipsy :-) Not to worry, by the time we wandered through some of the shops, leaving empty handed from them all, and through the docks passed all the other cruise ships, we were back to normal :-)
