So this morning i was woken up at the bacl of 5 by the mosque. Ivar was laughing, i thought i was dreaming that but he was actually laughing to himself, weirdo he is! Well, after 6 international flights, 2 domestic flights, 3 'scenic' flights and lots of driving, we have arrived back at our flat in Aberdeen with quite a bad case of post-wedding/honeymoon blues! Then I remembered that back then, I had not been exposed to much of the world as I am now. The malls I remember as being glamorous back then were nothing special for me this time around. Get asked to buy "Louis Vouitton, Gucci, Prada handbags, jewellery, Arabic perfume" many times walking to get our Abra (old boat) across the creek to view the Spice Souk (smelled it - amazing but did not enter) and Gold Souk. Saw the world's heaviest gold ring. Dubai love their Guiness World Records - they hold more of them than any other place.
