... Gili Air was an even smaller island than Gili T, so we walked there and it was almost on the opposite side of the island. It took maybe ten minutes. When we got back we had a shower and went out for some supper. We were on the beach again the next day but had to go next door to Chill Out! Their beds were no where near as nice and you had to get off them ever so often to crack your back into place! We tried putting off lunch ...

... The two of them are off travelling aswell so i told them to come over with claire soi could catch up with her. They didnt stay long though as they had to go get Karen and Kath from the beach and take them to where Claire was staying. Spent some more time at reem then took everyone up to Ibn Batutta mall cause they had never been there. Back to my cupboard for a sleep and we can see what tomorrow ...

We were there for about 2 hours. We had to get off the plane, walk the length of the terminal, gawk at the palm trees, turn right, go through security and bag scanning and make our way all the way back to the departure gate - stopping to pick up some water and tacky souvenirs on the way.

I think this is all part of the airport's health and safety program, so that people have to get up and walk rather than ...

Dubai malls are very similar to Las Vegas. They are MASSIVE !! They not only contain hundreds of designer and 'normal' shops but; ice rinks, restaurants, cinemas, ski domes, aquariums, waterfalls and entrance to the worlds tallest building. It was an incredibly crazy experience walking around the malls and one that seemed so weird.
