We were lucky to get offered two tickets for less than the price of one for the bus. It is a great way to get round the city. We were on the bus for almost 2 hours and got as far as the Burj Al Arab but as we were booked into the Burj Kalifa for afternoon tea didn't have time to go on to look at The Palm.

... a fella in a white dress. Doesn't seem quite right as he looked like he should be on a camel. I also say a VN Commodore! I do appreciate the effort they go to to make me feel at home.

We actually went to the Mall to get money from the ATM. Cash withdrawal was easy. Problem was not being left with a heap of local cash so it will mean multiple trips to ATM.

Had lunch in an African theme restaurant. Very nice.

... was pink, but I could live with that. Ended the day with a river cruise. Met some cute young Londoners, guys and girls The one guy had grown up in Dubai. He said it was interesting. Lots of expats here. The population is only 26% Emirati, the rest are different nationalities. ... and we enjoyed the rest of the evening watching traditional dancing in an Arabic camp in the desert! Ben enjoyed the belly dancers and I even got up on stage to try a traditional twirling dance myself! :D Although I could only twirl for 10 seconds before feeling dizzy whilst the dancers have to do it for at least 5 minutes!
