... be rich, posh and a little stuck up. I got a lot of weird looks for my baby wrap with moses and the only people who seemed to be helpful or chatty were fellow tourists. Feeling quite out of place we downed our drinks and began to head back to the station. Finally on the train we relaxed and ollie, Hudson and moses fell asleep (and even Glenn for a little bit) as we cruised through the city. The roads are crazy here, 120km is the normal speed limit but people do a lot faster then that. People hardly indicate and ...

... a guy asking if anyone wants a tour or taxi. I simply ask for a map (my phone can't get a non-roaming signal and there's no wifi in the airport) and he leads me back to his car. He's a tour guide and he promises to not take any money unless I enjoy myself. There were a couple of other factors, but I decided to trust this guy. His name is Shakil and he made my trip to Dubai something amazing! We start at some shops near the gold souk. ...
