We walk for a good 30 minutes without a taxi in sight before deciding perhaps a bus might be a better and cheaper option. A bus soon comes but we are told you can't travel without a pre-paid card and there aren't any exceptions (not even on New Year's Eve-boo bus man). And so we began walking again. ... tourists get issued with a 30 day Visitors Visa for free, I recommend picking up duty free on your way through, alcohol is heavily taxed here,. Arriving at night, I didn't get much to chance to see the city, as I stepped straight into a Cab and headed over to my friends apartment on the Palm.
