... of a shock. We chose a restaurant which was the best we could find that indicated a blue indifferent face. The entrance to the restaurant was in a mall however this mall looked like a bomb had hit it. We walked from our hotel to a spice/herb market. There was stall after stall of different herbs and spices. Local Chinese come here and tell the shop keeper the symptoms they are experiencing and he will give them the correct herb for what ails them. Along with the plant herbs we also saw different dried animals and animal parts: centipedes, millipedes,star fish, snake skin, sea horse, and no trip to the market would be complete without seeing live ...
I am lucky enough to have 2 visits from Carol & Don this year, transit stops on their way to Ireland.
They arrived very early on Weds morning, and as it was my day off we made the most of the time, starting with breakfast at McD's at the airport - that most Chinese of all experiences!
