        We had a lie in this morning, we had to drop our cases at the coach at 0545,have breakfast and then we were off at 0615. It is a bit of a shock to the system but we do get to the places we need to see quite early before it gets too hot. First we went Powell Lake Dam which is the second largest man made lake in the USA after the Hoover Dam. We then moved on to Horseshoe bend.         O.K. The merry band of riders is in the middle of country that few people see. They are headed to Telluride, CO and they will be easier to locate there. This day's ride was long, 105 miles with a shuttle into Priest Gulch. Hopefully they had a fine time there with fire pits and all. Tomorrow they head into the Rockies. Roll ...
