The issues of whether the contents are temperature critical, corrosive/explosive/biological or inert are factors that need to be considered, not just on the quayside but particularly on the ship. And of course the weight is important too. One box is hardly an issue, but this ship carries 11,000 teu’s so collectively it could be a major factor.
